ILT20 Title Sponsors: In an official collaborative announcement today, the International League T20 and DP World have agreed to a five-year title sponsorship deal. As a result of this sponsorship, the International League T20, which will soon feature a six-team franchise competition, will be known as the DP World International League T20.

The agreement comes at a time when 84 international cricket stars from across the world, including Andre Russell, Shimron Hetmyer, Moeen Ali, Kieron Pollard, and Wanindu Hasaranga, a number of shining associate players, including Paul Stirling, Mark Watt, and David Wiese, as well as 24 of the UAE’s current and rising talents, are looking to converge on the UAE and prepare for the inaugural season of the UAE’s home-grown T20 competition, which will be played between January 19 and February 17.

Teams named Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates, and Sharjah Warriors will compete in the first DP World International League T20. There will be a total of 34 matches that the teams will compete in for the gorgeous and much sought-after trophy. Each match will be broadcast live on the extensive and widespread Zee Network. The competition will be introduced with a dazzling opening ceremony headlined by Indian rapper Badshah and R&B megastar Jason Derulo. The opening match of the League will be a blockbuster match between Dubai Capitals and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The culmination of the second edition, which will take place on February 17, 2024, in Dubai International Stadium, where it was previously played, will be the event’s pinnacle moment.
