UAE Chairman gifted Golden bats to franchise owners of ILT20
The International League Twenty20, or ILT20 for short, is a cricket tournament that will be held in the United Arab Emirates. Its other name also knows it. Each team will play 20 overs. In June of 2022, it was announced that the league’s official name would be the International League T20. This announcement came at the same time as the schedule for the first season was being created.
Praise from outside the cricket pitch has already begun in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where the first season of an international Twenty20 competition is about to begin in just a few months. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, the Chairman of UAE Cricket, presented the owners of all six franchises competing in this first highly awaited cricket league 2023 with bats made of gold.
Franchises and their owners, such as Paul Voigt (Desert Vipers), Kiran and Ruchir Grandhi (Dubai Capitals), Nikhil Meswani (Owner – MI Emirates), Rajesh Sharma (Sharjah Warriors), Pranav Adani (Gulf Giants), and Jay Mehta, were honoured with the coveted accolade (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders).
The Souvenir Golden Bat Gifted to ILT20 Teams Owners
According to the press release, the presents were distributed after providing the public with their first look at the trophy that will be awarded to the winner of the International League Twenty20 2023. The golden bats with the colours of the UAE flag woven into the grip and the ILT20 emblem placed on them were presented as a gift to the owners of the franchises.
The meeting was a private lunch that was held by the board of the UAE’s Cricket Board. The event took place during lunch. Wasim Akram, Brett Lee, Dawayne Bravo, Robin Uthappa, and Simon Doull were among the internationally renowned cricket players who participated in this gathering and offered entertainment in the form of a conversation show.
The United Arab Emirates Twenty20 League is about to begin its first season in a few short weeks. ILT20 will kick off on January 13, 2023, according to the schedule that was just released, and the league will begin on that date. Fans are interested in the most recent lineups for each team because they include a lot of well-known players from other countries. Between the six franchises, there will be a total of 84 players from outside the UAE and 24 players from the UAE.
A golden bat was presented as a gift to the owner of each franchise by the Chairman of the International League T20. The host country’s hospitality inspires the team that won’t be there and helps the people who will be there form strong bonds with each other. Cricket fans are getting increasingly excited about the upcoming debut of the Emirates League, which is only a few months away.
