Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Captain: The International League Twenty20, popularly known as the United Arab Emirates Twenty20 tournament, will begin to play in the coming year. The ILT20 will start in January of the following year and is the most recent Twenty20 competition to be played internationally.
In preparation for the first season of competition in the UAE International League Twenty20, Sunil Narine has been selected to lead the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (ILT20). With 152 wickets in 147 innings and an impressive economy rate of 6.63, Narine is now the eighth-highest wicket-taker in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Since 2012, he has devoted his entire cricket career to playing for the Knight Riders club. Now, Sunil Narine will take the helm of the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in addition to the ILT20 in 2024.
Since making his debut in December 2011, he has participated in 51 international Twenty20 matches for the West Indies. In the ordinary league cricket game, he will start the batting and try to score quick runs in the powerplay overs. Fans of the sport of cricket recognise him as an effective spin bowler with a lot of variation in Twenty20 cricket.

Bowling all-rounder and all-rounder for the West Indies, Sunil Narine, will captain the ADKR team in the inaugural edition of the UAE ILT20. Sunil Narine is an experienced player who is a part of the Knight Riders family. In the past, he has competed for a number of different franchises, including the Trinidad and Tobago squad in the Caribbean Premier League. He is now set to lead the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders franchise in the International Twenty20 competition in 2024.
In a statement that was distributed by the organisation, Narine was quoted as saying, “It’s a new challenge since now I’m responsible for the entire team instead of just my four overs or game.” I have a lot of excitement about this upcoming event. Since the members of Knight Riders also have developed feelings of affection for me, it can be said that our relationship is very much like that of a family. I have always liked being a part of their teams, such as the Trinidad and Tobago squad in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and now the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders team in the International League Twenty20.
I am familiar with the conditions and the pitches in the UAE because I have played a significant amount of cricket in the UAE, including in different leagues (PSL and IPL). Because we have all played together in the past, the members of our squad ADKR are a perfect combination of players, and it gives me more confidence because I know how strong my players are. As a result of the presence of multiple veteran players on the squad, I will be able to get feedback from them in order to select a formidable eleven for the competition.
