In the first innings, Mohammed Amir was lucky to pick up the first wicket of James Vince in the very first over of the inning, and James Vince was gone on duck. The second wicket went at 46 runs, and this time, Pathirana got the wicket of Jamie Smith. Jamie Smith scored 15 runs out of 16 balls, including 2 4s. Then, there was a fine partnership between Chris Lynn and Jordan Cox, but Mohammad Amir soon broke this partnership. Chris scored 31 runs, while Jordan Cox scored 26 out of 18 balls.
